Thank You!

To all the people who have helped CottonTails Rescue

Thank You!

Many people have helped CottonTails over the years, and I would like to give a very BIG thankyou to everyone who has contributed in any way over the years. Although it would be a massive task to name each and every person, there are some individuals and organisations that have been particularly important in recent months:

  • Jon Humphrey for making an excellent job of redeveloping the web site.
  • Steve Perry for upgrading the computer (at least twice) and giving me technical support whenever it is needed, for supplying some hay, vegetables and other rabbit orientated bits and bobs, and for fostering many baby rabbits until they are old enough to be neutered.
  • Martin Franklin for re-roofing and waterproofing the hutches.
  • Sue Hunter for her enthusiastic support over the years.
  • The neutering-run team, without whom the rescue would undoubtedly close, namely Dennyse, Trude, Claire, Donna, Hazel, Conrad, Kathy, Siobhan and Maria.
  • The Saturday helpers, most importantly Carol and Barrie who have helped in many ways over the years and without whom I would have struggled to keep going, Ruth who has proved to be a very willing and trustworthy helper, and Stephen for helping with the water bottles.
  • Barry for supplying us with shavings until his recent change of career.
  • Ian and Alison for raising funds by running the Bath half marathon.
  • Heidi, Hannah, Stephanie and Rachel from St. Marks C of E Junior School in Salisbury for selling cakes and games to fundraise for us.
  • Grant Awards during 2007 from: The Michael & Shirley Hunt Charitable Trust; Animal Affairs; Edna Smylie Memorial Fund; The face Charitable Foundation; Marchig Animal Welfare Trust; Barry Green Memorial Fund; Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust; The Animal Defense League; Pets At Home Charitable Foundation.
  • Damian Pacinni and all the RSPCA vet clinic team for handling our rabbits and guinea pigs with such care and professionalism when they go for their neutering operations.
  • Manor Farm Vets for their continuing support.
  • My husband Francis, and my four sons Matthew, Ben (who looks after the birds for me), David and Fraser who have had to put up with quite a lot over the years.

I am sure I have missed people out so I will add to this list as and when I remember them!
