2012 - Thank You!
To all the people who have helped CottonTails Rescue
Many people have helped CottonTails since we started in 1993, and I would like to give a very BIG thankyou to everyone who has contributed in any way over the years. Although it would be a massive task to name each and every person, there are some individuals and organisations that have been particularly important in recent months:
· Jon Humphrey for his continued help with the web site.
· Bev Weekes for the original design of the CottonTails logo, and Ben Abbott for logo redevelopment.
· The neutering-run team, without whom the rescue would undoubtedly close, namely Hazel, Siobhan, Francis, Marie, Wendy and Damon.
· The Saturday helpers Verity and David.
· Foster carer Lisa who has helped by looking after litters of babies and adult rabbits until they were ready for neutering.
· Grant Awards during 2012 from: Pets at Home and Pets at Home Support Adoption for Pets (1750),Coyney Lodge (£50), Animal Affairs (£600), CAF (£719.76),PamPurred Pets Frome (£129.82), Boo Boo's Bunny Hotel (£100), All Saints Church Christmas Tree Festival, Westbury (£30).
· Damian Pacini, Mandy Stone and all the RSPCA vet clinic team for handling our rabbits and guinea pigs with such care and professionalism when they go for their neutering operations.
· Manor Farm Vets at Codford for their continuing support.
· My husband Francis, and sons Ben (who looks after the birds for me), David and Fraser who help with clean out and water bottles.
· Andrew Cross for giving up his spare time to make us superb replacement metal rabbit runs at cost.
Various people have given donations during 2012, and for the list in full please refer to the annual report 2012 which is posted elsewhere on the site - my sincere thanks to them all!
