Strawberry is an orange (with a slight pink tinge) and white dutch female, 2 years old.  She has now been neutered and will be vaccinated against myxomatosis and RHD1 shortly.  Her RHD2 vaccination can be given from 26th January onwards so even if she is out on trial in the meantime she can return for her second vaccination on or after the 23rd.  She will be ready from 17th January onwards to go out on trial as a friend for a lonely neutered male, but preferably using the slow bonding method where the two are side by side for a couple of weeks before trying an introduction.  After her operation the vets noticed she had a slight breathing “rattle” which is likely due to irritation of the airways due to the intubation, but she is on a course of antibiotics as a precaution despite being fine in herself.  It is possible her rattle may stay with her for a while but only seems to be an issue when she is picked up, probably due to an increase in her breathing as a result.  Strawberry is a medium sized rabbit, weighing 2.4kg.

UPDATE:  Strawberry is now reserved pending a successful match with neutered male Alfie.
