MONDAY 28TH NOVEMBER
It is due to the generosity of the Sylvie Mary Cooke Trust and their donation in 2015 that we have this year managed to replace our upper rabbit hutches with large 8′ x 2.5′ x 2′ ones – a massive improvement, and also have managed to replace our aging guinea pig shed with a brand new one which is light and airy and definitely fit for purpose. We knew the old one had seen better days but it was not until it was being demolished that we realised how bad it actually was, so it was a job urgently needing to be done although we did not know it at the time. It is so lovely to be able to see the guinea pigs properly now as there is so much light streaming in from the large windows/doors, and as it is insulated it should prove to be snug for the winter too. Below are some photos I took on my phone on a rather cold and wet day. There is also a photo of one of the new hutches too. The photo of the guinea pigs is of a bonded pair of boys that are currently looking for a home (see under guinea pigs for adoption, Philip and Steven).
