Comment: I love your site and your helpful information. I normally have up to nine rabbits at a time as I help foster rabbits for a sanctuary near me; as well as having rabbits of my own. At the moment I don't have any foster rabbits but I do have 5 rabbits of my own.
Once again, thank you for your very helpful site.. Maria

Comment: Just to let you know that Sooty and Smudge previously Sugar and Spice have up sticks and moved with us to Devon - They are such a lovely pair of bunnies to have as part of our family. Smudge is usually called Smudge Nudge due to her putting her nose into everything beforehand and Sooty is called Sooty Footie due to his excellent football skills around the garden - They both run around our garden at a million miles an hour, flicking their feet and randomly turning around and leaping really high. I will try and put a video of them on you tube so everyone can see how happy they both are.

We think your rescue and website is fantastic!! The work you do to help all the poor neglected & abused bunnies & guinea pigs is wonderful - it's a good job that there are very special & wonderful people like you in this very sad world.
We are the proud mum & dad to 8 wonderful bunnies - Barney, Bracken, Ollie, Amber, Oscar, Mimi, Alfie & Harry. They all live quite happily onlongside 4 cats as well. All of our bunnies are housebunnies at night, with big runs & hutches for the day (when weather permits)- all of our babies are rescue rabbits. They give us so much pleasure & ask for very little in return. Except as you say to be loved, respected & look after properly.
It never ceases to amaze us, just how cruel & ignorant humans can be to these beautiful, intelligent animals - if only people realised what they were missing out on. Keep up the good work. Best wishes Denise & Mark

Comment: Whilst everyone is being thanked by Mairwen for their support and help over the last twelve months, I would like to add my four pennies worth.
On behalf of all the helpers and lots of you who have over the years adopted bunnies and piggies from Cottontails and know how excellent the Sanctuary is, I would like to thank Mairwen for all her hard work and her continuous efforts in making a real difference to Animal Welfare .
Modest, but very determined, Mairwen is an unsung hero of the animal world, so very worthy of the MBE she received almost 2 years ago now. The compassion and tireless work she does both at the sanctuary and on her website is simple amazing.
With a growing family to look after, a house to run, it's never a surprise to arrive on a Saturday to find a bunny warm and cosy in the house getting the very best attention because it is poorly. Nothing is too much trouble, her knowledge of animals is amazing, no bunnies leaves the Sanctuary unless Mairwen is sure that the new owners know exactly how to look after and treat them, with the option of returning them if things don't work out. A truly wonderful person, my best friend , we laugh together and cry together. People talk of their Rock, Mairwen is truly that to the Bunny World, to any animal she can help and especially to me. Thanks loads from all of us.
Carol (& Barrie).

Comment: I am very fortunate to have two wonderful happy healthy rabbits, male kept in garden 1 & half yrs old and Elsa a 9 week old....Male older female baby.
Bith have different personalities, Elsa was purchased from LONDON RSCUE Greenewich Rabbit rescue, Floppies was fom pets@homesadly...But I have loved, respected taken GREAT CARE daily,in rain also of my rabbits - I don't beleive that animals should be contained to a cage except to sleep and be safe - other than that my Rabbits are allowed out daily for 4-6 hours - fresh food pellets once day - 2X fresh veg daily, fresh water, hutches cleaned throughly 3 times week ALL WEATHER.
Rabbits are wonderful affectionate animals that only want respect, love, care - NOT TO BE SHUT IN A BOX not big enough to stand up, stretch out, PLEASE DO NOT BUY A RABBIT for Easter - OK for you as a parnt, great for few days for child - LIFE OF MISERY FOR THE DELIGHTFUL,LOVING,CARING RABBIT
